Gaining weight, not showing on scale?

I'm not sure if it's possible.. but I feel bigger than ever because of my eating habits for the past two weeks, NOT proud, I feel like my stomach is bigger..HOWEVER.. the scale does NOT show a weight gain. I do work out still, not as much but I am still running and doing some zumba, and walking. I AM actually tossing out all the crap in the house and doing a full on health food shopping this weekend to help me get re-focused. 77 lbs down, not about to go back!
Is it possible to gain some fat, but not show on the scale?!

Maybe you just gained inches. You know how sometimes, you lose inches, but your weight stays the same? Same principle here. Or maybe you're just a little bloated? It happens. Anyway. Keep up the good work. 77 lbs is awesome!!0

only if you lost the equivalent amount of water or muscle0 -
Thank you. It's been SO hard.. I just need to keep focused!! All these PUMPKIN flavored goodies out there got the best of me.. GOOD THING I don't care for gingerbread, or I would be doing this for 2-3 more months! LOL.
Yes Maybe it's the same concept.. I just feel bigger.. it sucks! I'm done and over it!0 -

I don;t think it's muscle, I still work out. It could be water though. I take water pills and drink non stop!0 -

I absolutely know what your are feeling. I had a couple of weeks where I felt the same. For me, it took paying attention to the diet again and eliminating some problem foods that I know were making me feel bloated and just bad overall. Although my scale didn't move I know that it was not paying attention to my food and getting at least some exercise that was the cause. This week I am more focused and feel so much better, and the water retention is gone.0

The scale measures weight. That's its entire purpose. If you gained weight, it would show that. However, your body composition can change causing you to look different at the same weight. It wouldn't happen in a short time though.0

Probably bloated. I did the same thing a few weeks ago when I was eating a lot of fast and heavily salted foods. I was still hitting my calorie goal (mostly) but not drinking enough water. I felt like a whale!! Started eating at home again and made myself drink LOTS of water and the bloat went away.0

It's probably just your mind messing with you0

This is me!
I am getting back on the wagon, slwly but surly.. FUNNY how once I started eating bread/carbs again I started feeling like total unmotivated crap!
I swear, I love bread.. but it's the devil..
So excited to start over. I love how I feel after a good day of eating clean and working out.0 -
It's VERY possible it's all in my head. But, I swear I feel it at my waist!0

The only way to know would be before/after measurements. If you "feel" it with no numbers to substantiate it, then it's all in your head.0 -
Bloating. My belly can definitely get bloated without gaining weight. Bloating is temporary.0

I have never measured myself. For no other reason than I just don't own a measuring tape. I should give it a shot. lol.0 -

ALSO.. by " feel it".. I mean by the feeling of my pants.. they don't feel the same..0 -
"Feeling" fat is a psychological issue, not a physical one. It could be that you're just bloated. I always feel fatter when I'm bloated.0
