New and losing 40 lbs!

HI,

My name is Shannon, I'm 18 years old and from the UK, I need to lose 40 lbs, hopefully taking me from 156 lbs to 116lbs, or 11 stone 2 to 8 stone 2. My BMI was 28.54 to start with and its 27.78 at the moment, but only now I've noticed the forums!

I think that at first, I want to reach the exact amount that i need to be on the bmi scale, which is 9 stone 12 pounds, 138 lbs altogether, So when I lose a stone ( notice I said when?) I will be jumping for joy!

I have gym equipment at home, because I've always been a bit too self conscious to go to a real gym so I will be using my equipment along with a healthy diet, so far it's helped me lose 4 lbs!

    Sounds like things are going well for you :) keep on trucking. I agree gyms can be a little bit intimidating but at the end of the day you're all there with the same goal in mind (whether it's improve fitness, tone up etc).
