I'm too scared to weigh in.

I haven't weighed myself in over two weeks. I just don't want to face the scales. No matter how much or how little I exercise, what type of exercise I do, no matter how much or how little food I eat, no matter how many carbs I eat or not, no matter how much protein I eat..or not, my weight stays roughly the same. However the last few weeks, Iv'e been very lax on eating and tracking, and now I'm just too scared to get on the scales. I keep saying, I'll have a good week (good eating, lots of exercise) and THEN I'll weigh...anyone else have this issue?

Then don't weigh yourself. If you feel that you have been slack with eating properly, why compound your misery by having numbers on a scale prove it to you?
Tomorrow is another day and can be a new start.0 -
I have done the same thing in the past, avoiding the scale for the "someday" when I am back on track. It usually ends up making things worse, because without the cold, hard number in front of you, it is still too easy to ignore it or pretend you will do better tomorrow or next week. I can only say what works best for me, but that would be weigh in now and at least find out what your new starting point is.0

I know it stinks but you have to face the reality sooner or later and hopefully it's sooner. I do know how you feel as for the past 2 months it seemed that no matter what I did my scale never moved or if it moved it moved in the direction I did not want for it to. I think our bodies are just so used to this that we really need to make some drastic changes in our workout and eating. I tell myself that no matter what the number is on the scale it's my fault because I did that to myself so I shouldn't be running away from it and that should be my slap in the face to make better changes. Just hang on and always be honest with yourself through this journey if you stay true then you will get there eventually.0
