Lost the weight, now what to implant or not to implant?

Most women or even men on here  see the changes in your body with the weight loss. Well sometimes it comes off in places not so favorable. I still have my thunder thighs... but my cup size has decreased by almost 2 cups. So the question is breast implants or stay natural? My reason would be to feel good in my own skin when I undress to take a shower and be proud of what I've accomplished without saying ugh... where did they go and I had such bigger ones when I was heavy. Anyhow thoughts on this and has anyone got them since losing the weight?

My girls are GONE. I mean I can probably wear a training bra and get away with it. I've considered it. But eh.... thats the glory of the padded push up bra! :)

I've considered implants in the past. I've decided against them. My little boobs "go" well with my fit lean body. Small boobs = cheap sports bras. My husband still thinks I'm hawt, still enjoys the ones I have, even though he's a self proclaimed "boob man" and would like it if I got implants.

Mainly I want to teach my daughters that self confidence and beauty comes from within and you've got to be proud and happy with who you are.. and all that blah, blah, blah.

Personally I prefere the natural ones.... although I will say I have never really had a chance to have any fake ones. Anyone care to let me sample???

    Natural for the win.
I've seen too many of those shows that highlight the horrible things that can go wrong with implants.
Plus I've always thought implants were ugly and unnecessary.

I'd rather just have some great bras for when I really want to enhance a particular outfit, and not have them in the way the rest of the time. Best of both worlds, if you ask me.

I'd love to get implants or a lift or something... After being heavy for so long and losing and gaining over the years, the girls are a mess! It's expensive though so that's the only thing really holding me back. I'm thinking about going in for a consultation next spring and see what they think (reduction, implants, both?) and get a cost estimate and then go from there.

Let them be a reward for keeping the weight off for 5 years. If you still want them then, then go for it. It will also be something to motivate you to not put the weight back on.....

I'm seriously considering implants. If they were just small, I would deal with it, but after three kids and going up and down, mine look like deflated balloons. I just want them to look normal, not looking for huge, just put them back where they belong and fill them back in. Wish they had a pump for that.

My thunder thighs are gone and so is all the rest of my fat, but at age 52 and happily married for 25 years I'm not about to get surgery, that is what all the padded bras are for, even if I do have to buy them in the juniors section. Life is to precious to me to waste recovering from some sort of surgery and not being able to go to the gym. Half my life is gone already, not going to waste what precious time I have left on that.
  • I say go for it, it will help you feel better about yourself, and it can be your reward for all the weight you have lost

When I hit my goal weight, my husband promised me a little lift and (he thinks) a little extra! If it will make you more comfortable in your own skin, go for it!

Having been flat like a 12 year old boy my whole life .. being thin and athletic .. I treated myself on my 30th birthday to boobs .. because I was enamored with the HUGE ones I had while nursing my son! Holy shiznit .. I was GINORMOUS .. went from a AA (basically never wearing a bra because there was nothing but holes and divots there .. to 36 DD. Sadly .. they shriveled back up to AA after I was done nursing .. took about 18 months and no more.

I'm 46 now .. and have had them 16 years .. and to be honest .. I look great in clothes .. but I friggin HATE how they feel. And I had cute little nipples before .. and after they became sand dollars ... yuck (in my opinion) .. *sigh*

Now ... lingerie and petite clothing fit wonderfully (I'm a 34B .. or C depending on bra style) .. but nekkid .. pfft .. no scarring .. but I just don't like 'em. Hugging is weird .. they don't move out of the way and squish like natural breasts do. And they were like that from the beginning when I got them.

I'm half considering getting rid of them .. going back to my flat chested self .. I'm single .. and would love to meet someone, but I'm almost too nervous to anymore because of them .. feel like they would be a disappointment.

Stay natural .. and love yourself! :flowerforyou:

Exactly ^^^ lol. I have no complaints from the partner. I just want them up where they should be, not porn style lol.
  • Without seeing first hand, or at least through photography, I don't know how anyone can give an honest assessment of your situation.

Personally for myself... I am almost where I want to be and thankfully had no issue with loss of the girls. If will help you feel better then why not... but honestly ... I say love how you are :flowerforyou:

Thats awesome that he supports you and offers gifts. :) Yes I have lost about 50 pounds in the last year and half and maintained. My goal weight, may not be a realistic goal for my body... so I believe now is the time to reward myself. Victoria's Secret Miraculous bra just isn't doing it for me anymore.

I haven't lost any weight that i know of yet, being I only weigh in once a month, but I would be happy to lose a cup or two.

Implants are a personal decision. Some people prefer them, some done. Personally I don't believe in implants. HOwever, my sister is considering reductions, whcih makes sense because too big of boobs could mess up your back.
  • Oh dear. Don't buy into what other people tell you is attractive.

You should feel comfortable in your own skin because it's YOURS, not because it fits some random marketeer's idea of what's beautiful. If you don't (and you have zero reason not to love your body like crazy), then this is not a physical issue, it's a mental issue. Save your money.

AND don't forget that it takes years and years to feel like "yourself" in your new body. Mentally, you're still you at a larger size. Perhaps you consoled yourself with the idea that, "I may be big, but at least I've got big boobs." You don't need to console yourself anymore. Your body is different. Women who look like Barbie because they're tiny and have gotten implants look ridiculous, and everybody can see it but them. If you don't give your brain time to catch up with your new physical reality before you go under the knife, you'll regret it.

I'm considering a D or DD cup. I'm 5'3" but not a small or petite frame.

My bf won't let me. I've gained back 15lbs and swear it's all gone back to my boobs, which is good... but if they get any smaller than a D cup, I want them back!

Obviously the women in this post have NOT given second thought to showing pics or even answering to the guys that are eager to see be involved in anything that has to do with BOOBIES... That being said Flat, Small, Big, ROUND it doesn't matter men want to see them ALL. So go for only what makes you feel at your best!!
