6 weeks passed and 31 pounds off

This site and the motivation of all your sucess stories has been a big help. Im losing on average about 5 pounds a week. Today marks the first 6 weeks and I am down 31 pounds so far.
Eating less and exercising more.is working very well so far. There is still a long way to go but thus far, I am pleased with needing new pants and moving a couple holes in my belt..
I look forward to the next 6 weeks.

Me too! I lost 30 lbs so far, and i have been here about 6 weeks.... also averaging 3-4 lbs a week. MFP is amazing, and im so happy for both of us!0

The first two weeks I was on a 2,500 cal a day plan and working out 3 days a week.
The next two weeks I was on a 2,000 cal a day plan and again working out 3 days a week.
This last two weeks I have been on a 1,500 cal a day plan and also working out 3 days a week but working out a little longer and harder.
The next two weeks I will continue the 1,500 cal a day plan and the more vigorus 3 workouts a week.
As to the food I'm eating, Im not eating anything special, just less of it.0 -
