New around here. Trying to lose some weight after having baby. Not sure whether I should go as low calorie-wise as the website recommends because I bf her still. Anyways, my name's Nicole and I'm jobless right now. Husband got laid off yesterday. I would say my life is in the hole but I have a beautiful baby girl and she makes everything a little better.

I think you burn about 20 calories per ounce of breast milk you could treat it like exercise and make up the deficit.
Also I know what its like to go through hard times, but I'm sure things will get better. My husband and I were so broke when we had our first baby. Have to be strong for that precious angel. Keep your chin up.0 -
Thanks, that's a good idea. I'll try to find an exercise that's about the same I think and just use that instead0

Hi Nicole! Congrats on the princess baby! Sorry to hear things are so difficult. I am not sure if this is your first baby, but please be careful about restricting calories too much while trying to nurse. I had a tough time with my milk supply with both of mine and had to eat way more than I was hungry for....A LOT MORE. And wearing a sports bra to workout 1) hurt and 2) further restricted my milk supply. The weight will come off pretty steadily if you are nursing, so don't push too hard right now. Hang in there, take lots of pictures and write down something fabulous she does every day.0
