Stuck at the same weight

I didn't really know what to call this post. I lost 7.7 pounds in 85 days and then in the last ten days put 2.5 lbs back on. I weigh 158.5 lbs now (I'm 5 ft 7.5). I've often been able to get my weight down to what it is now or about two pounds lighter but that seems to be about it.

I'm happy except for the muffin top I have (fat tummy and waist). I suffer from depression so if I have a bad day or week I just want to give up.

Everyone here is so supportive and I don't always want to be feeling this way but my questions are :

1. Can you move past the point at which your body says 'that's enough hun' and go on to lose more weight.
2. After 85 days my net loss is 5 pounds, will it always be this slow?
3. How can I kick start my diet again - feel free to look at my diary.

All and any advice and gentle pushes are welcome. I'm on 1400 cals a day.

Thanks xx

Your body can get pretty comfortable at certain weight if you stick with the same diet and exercise. I would suggest trying acouple high intensity cardio workouts to shock the system. Didn't look at your diary but change up your foods every day and stay at the same calories, your body will tend to react differently.

I'm here to sympathize, no tried and true advice unfortunately. I lost 10 pounds in two months, got down to about 133lb. I've been stuck fluctuating between 132-135 for two months now. After about 3-4 weeks of my plateau, I started doing HIIT and NROL4W. My weight still fluctuates between the same few pounds and my inches have not decreased one bit anywhere. I've been doing the weights for 5-6 weeks now. I can tell I have tighter muscles pretty much all over my body, but I'm very bummed about the non existent measurable changes. I feel like I'm totally in the dark about how much I should be eating. I feel like when I eat the calories NROL4W wants me to eat, I'm just fat and bloated. If I eat more in line with TDEE minus 15-20% then I am starving because of the weight lifting. I feel like I can't win. I'm doing all this work and getting absolutely no where. The first 10 pounds were so easy, they came off just like they were supposed to. Sometimes I want to gain 5 pounds of fat back just so I can lose it with all the effort I'm putting in and actually just see some results. Good luck.
