Help picking a spin bike.

I live in a small town and spin classes are not offered as frequently as I am used to since I moved here. I am thinking about purchasing my own spin bike so that I am able to spin as much as I want to since it is "my exercise" that keeps me motivated.

I don't know all that much about actually purchasing a spin bike. Which of these would you buy and why? Can you please help me?

I would get a road bike (another road bike  ). Sorry not much help, but I like the scenery to change while I am working out.

I am going to be getting a road bike as well but the weather is not always good in my area - it rains quite a lot - and it is also very hilly so I want to build up my strength before I can go a lot of places. I want to have more than one option for myself. Thank you anyway. :)

Rain is not a problem with the right clothes. I just will NOT cycle on ice. The rest you can deal with. rather than getting a spin bike, get a turobo trainer to mount your road bike on much cheaper and you keep your position correct. with a greater range of resistances etc. I use mine in icy conditions, but find it boreing. However better than doing nothing.

+1 on the idea of getting an indoor trainer for your road bike. A decent trainer is not cheap (I bought a used Kurt Kinetic a couple of years ago) but is less than a spinning bike and you don't need to buy a 2nd set of pedals to match your cleats etc etc

Thank you for the indoor trainer idea. I hadn't thought of that. I will look into it. :)
