eating back partial calories

for those of you eating back partial calories, how much are you netting? I try to eat about 1200-1300 a day but when I exercise it raises to about 1500, which is often a net of 700-800. is this unhealthy? I have been gorging on sweets just to make it that high atm, I can't imagine having to eat so much more, but I'm worried I'm starving myself.

    f but I'm worried I'm starving myself.

you should be worried because you are starving yourself.

your body is eating your muscle tissue to make up for it.

    stop it.

eat some peanut butter or almonds or cheese.

Yeahhh I'm netting the same! My goal is 1200, but becomes about 2000 with exercise, and then net about 800
    Not sure though...is this okay ? :/

Way too low. The exercise calories thing clearly isn't working out for you. Find your TDEE and eat 20% below it. Probably around 1400-1600 calories per day. Yes, that's right. Double your current intake. Stop yo-yoing and take control of your health.

I agree, at least cover your BMR. You could always try calorie dense foods like oils, nuts, nut butters, avocados, and cheese. I'm sure there are many other choices out there to help you get to your goal in a healthier way than sweets (nothing against them in moderation).

I guess I didn't mean gorging I mean just indulging - I've been having one serving every night which I wasn't doing before I was exercising. I really don't feel worn down or tired, always full. I wonder if I have one of those lower bmr, but I don't have the money to get tested. Plus, I'm pretty muscular I've been weight training for three years and they are pretty mature atm.
