looking for friends

Just started posting today, I have been trying to get fit for a while and recently started tracking food on another site, a friend suggested that I try this site. I found this site has a more complete food data base and looks like everyone is very supportive. I ride bike, lift weights also play volleyball, racquetball and golf. I was at 205 pounds about 4 years ago and now I am 184 pounds, so I lost 21 pounds while gaining muscle mass. I lost my belly a while ago but still have some fat I would like to shed. I hit a plateau and realized that exercise alone isn’t enough and that you also have to keep your eating under control, so here I am. My goal is to loose about 10 more pounds without losing any muscle. Looking for friends with similar interests or people that would like some help with their goals.

  • Hello fellow cyclist! Seems like we're in a similar boat, I started riding my bike pretty much everyday a few years ago (mostly due to being broke) and it helped me keep my weight under control while giving me a lot of muscle. Since I was always snacking and not really watching my portions all the lovely muscles were hidden under my fat. I've been on MFP for about 3 weeks now and I've already lost 6lbs. Like you I'm only looking to loose another 10-15lbs. Anyway, feel free to add me and good luck!
