I  Chuy's and have stayed away since I started mfp on Jan. 18th. I am craving it soooo bad. My daughter comes home for Spring Break next week  and I KNOW that we will be going to Chuy's. Dang those mexican restaurants that NONE of them have nutritional information available, besides the fast food ones. I absolutely love the chips and creamy jalepeno and chuy-changa. What am I suppose to order? HOW do I stay away from the chips and creamy? 35g=135cal is the only info I could find. How do I measure while I'm there? I have a feeling I am going to crack once I get there!:noway:

I love chuy's too! Get their tortilla soup it's fantastic! And if you want to get dip don't worry about the calories just use it as your "cheat" meal of the week!

I always get chicken or shrimp fajitas. That way, I can control the sour cream/cheese/sauces that go in/on my food. Try to steer clear of the complimentary chips and remember that salsa is the best condiment to give you flavor without many calories and no fat!

Pass on that mexican martini (yum!) and stick with water. Good luck!

I would totally have to cheat here as I am a avid Mexican food lover! I try to stay away from those places as much as possible. There are tons of mexican food restaurants around me so I never look at them. But enjoy yourself and try to stay in a healthy eating state of mind.
