Ways to stay motivated!

I lost 20 pounds with the help of MFP! I have managed to keep it all off for over a year so far. Life is great.
Here are some ways that helped me stay focused and motivated on my weight loss journey.
-Take progress pictures every few weeks.
-Go on "photoshoot days" with a friend or a group of friends.
-Make a list of why you want to be fit and post it in your workout area.
-Write motivational quotes on a whiteboard in your room.
-Find workout buddies!
-Make small goals at first and then gradually make bigger goals for yourself.
-Go try on new clothes every now and then to see how your body is changing. Weight doesn't always show your progress!
-Listen to fast beat songs when working out.
-Take it one day at a time. Don't worry so much if you go over your calories one day. Just remember that you can learn from that and make better choices for the rest of that week.
-Treat yourself to a small piece of candy everyday. You deserve it!
-To keep myself jogging, I think of some past memories that once made me feel mad, upset, frustrated, pissed off, or sad. I let that energy drive me forward and keep me moving. Trust me! It will make you feel better about yourself. Especially after a bad breakup, working out is one of the best things you can do for yourself.
-Remember that no matter how slow you go, you are always lapping that person that is sitting on the couch.
Good luck to all! (:
Post some of your tips for others to read if you wouldn't mind sharing! I'd love to hear all of your ideas.
