I truly do not understand it, but I keep hearing a lot about it. How does it work? What does it do?
It sounds like a pedometer, but what does that have to do with anything? Isn't your TDEE already calculated in?
Super confused.
Thanks.

I use a fitbit, it's a pedometer on steroids. You keep it on you all the time, even when you sleep ( I don't do the sleep part ) Based on your weight and your stride length ( running and walking ) it counts calories burned for the entire day, counts flights of stairs total distance traveled. You link it up once or twice a day and it tracks your calories and syncs with MFP. I use it to try and get a real accurate calorie count. I really like it, but it's not designed for tracking the real hardcore workouts. It has a hard time understanding bench pressing or bicep curls. But its great for running and jumping, Good luck.0

Ah, thanks. But, I see the adjustments in calories. I don't get it.
and I am wondering if it tracks your heart rate? or, is it just simply tracking movement?0 -
No heart rate at all only movement, but a girl at my gym uses a polar watch that tracks her heart rate. It has one of those chest straps though.0
