How to count marinades

If you marinate something then drain and cook it, how do you account for the marinade when you log the meal? Most of the marinade gets drained away and I don't eat any sauce it goes into, but some of it must be absorbed into the food or there wouldn't be much point in marinating to begin with! All I can think of is just to add some percentage of the marinade ingredients, which doesn't seem too accurate, but perhaps it's adequate.
