I've been restricting myself with 1200-1400 calories since July. I've managed to lose 30+ pounds in doing that combined with exercise. I would have bad weekends that would cause sodium water weight gains but just this past weekend, I had another bad weekend, bad food choices combined with no exercise (only walking in stores and house cleaning) and managed to maintain what I've lost! So, with that said, since I managed to maintain at 1600 calories, I'm going to eat at 1600 cals and do exercise and see what I can lose.
What do you all think? (Me? I'm 5'3", 209 lbs, 30 yrs old)

As you get closer to your goal you're probably going to want to try to eat more, but create a deficit through increasing your activity level. I'm about 205 lbs and I averaged just a bit over 2600 total calories per day over the last couple weeks and still haven't found the point where I start to gain weight yet. I tried to keep up a higher deficit through lower calories, but got to a point where I just felt weak and lighheaded all the time and had to increase my calories. I'm going to bump it up by another 300 here in a week or so.0

You need to be deficit to lose - 3,500 = 1 lb that is 515 per day
You choose - either excercise it away or eat less most people do a combination. Weight lifting also maintains your muscle mass so you look good too.0 -

Yes, I definitely agree with the eating less and feeling like crap.0
