I am planning on completing a 5 mile run on Thanksgiving morning. What should I eat the night before and/or the morning of?

You don't need any special fuel for a run of that distance. Just eat whatever you normally eat before you run, and don't add in anything your stomach isn't used to.0

Like it was said above, eat what you normally eat for breakfast and nothing new. Also be especially careful with the foods you eat the night before and or if you have never ran after drinking coffee. As an avid long distance runner(13+mile runs) I eat clean the day before my long runs and the morning of the run I eat two eggs and half a whole wheat bagel 1 hour prior to leaving. Anything else may send your stomach into turmoil and cause 'stomach drops', and well you just do not want to be in that position!0
