wow i may be a bit emotional this week but this story truely touched me im glad you ran for a cause and that even though you walk faster you ran this whole 5k congrats and keep up the good work
I actually had to slow my pace down REALLY really slow to be able to stick to the C25k program. Eventually I will improve speed. One thing at a time!0 -

Next 5k is next weekend, lol...not going crazy with it, just coincidental. My FIRST one was supposed to be Dec 2nd, but these two popped up in advance of completing C25k, so I was not even sure if I could run the whole thing!! The one last weekend was in support of my daughter's best friend who had sudden cardiac arrest at age 17. It is to raise money to get defibrillators in all the schools. The next one is sponsored by my daughter's middle school (she and my son are on their schools running club) to support a little girl who has Alexanders Disease (incurable) and both her parents are teachers. So its for a good cause.0 -
That is truly inspirational. That is a goal of mine as well and I know I can do it, eventually. I just have to work for it.
