Hi all,
So I have just gone and torn ligaments in my ankle (wooo!) and need some help thinking of some cardio exercises I can do?
I will defs keep up with the upper body exercises and abs work but any ideas on cardio would be great?
Thanks in advance (=

If you can swim well, can you trap a float between your knees and swim with your arms? Good cardio and strength training for your upper body and it'll just look like you are swim training.
Depending on your ankle pain, maybe tread water but use the good leg more than the damaged one. Backstroke without kicking - again, using a float between your legs.
A bit of aqua therapy may be good for your ankle as well.

I started Dragon Boating (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_boat) after I injured my ankle at the start of the year.
Its totally addictive, even after the ankle improved I stayed on, I am even trying out for our state team0 -
Shadow boxing (can be done sitting down) so its great for people with lower body injuries0
