Challenging myself

Last week i've seen my best friend again - after 4 months.
We're both working as Au pairs in different countries and still have contact like every day. And i knew already that she gained weight, too. This somehow made me feel better the whole time. But now that I saw her next to me:
I'M FEELING FAT!
But, somehow this comparison gave me so much motivation! I mean, of course, I'm glad for her that she doesnt look as bad as I do, but now I've made myself a challenge:
On christmas we'll see each other again, and I want to weigh less than her up to then. So, I'm starting 30 Day Shred from tomorrow on (unfortunately I really have no chance to do it on mondays and fridays -.-) and I've changed my calorie goal and I want to start running as long as its not snowing :)
Today I went into town and bought some new sport clothes, because now that I've spent money on this, I can motivate myself even more. So, guys, let's do this untill christmas!

I completel understand. My sister lost some weight and now she is smaller than me. I often think of catching up with her. That would be such a great thing. We've never been slim together, usually it's either me or her never both of us at he same time. Good luck with it. You an do it!!
  • thanks and good luck for you two, too :P
