Pain in my neck/collar bone area when doing chest exercises

Hello All...Just wondering if anyone can help me with this issue

When I am doing chest exercises (specifically bench press and flys) I feel a pain in my neck and collar bone area only on my right side...I'm not sure what the pain is but when I feel it i lower the weight i am using and it usually goes away. Is this something that will go away all together with time?

Anyone know what this is and what is causing it or what I can do to make it go away? I would like to up the weight I am using.

Thanks in advance

I've had a similar pain in my collar bone when shoulder pressing. It could be caused to an increased load for which our body isn't quite ready. You could try slightly changing your form by bringing your elbows in alittle closer to your sides which will put more stress on the triceps and less on the shoulder / collar area. I would suggest going light for about a month and using a good multi incase their is any type of injury.
