Hello Myfitnesspal World,
My name is Jessica and I would love to lose weight. The hardest part for me to lose weight is seeking motivation. I know what I need to do but it's hard for me to find the want. I would love to seek friends that will help me in this weight loss journey. I am hoping this website will help me. I am a new new mom!! I have 3 kids under the age of 2. I have a beautiful son and a set of boy/girl 7 month old twins. They are my life. I am also a full time student studying social work and nonprofit management. I hope that I can meet amazing people on this website. I hope to talk to ya'll soon. Oh yea, please can some help me navigate through this website. :-)

Hi Jessica,
I am Patricia and new to this app, but not new to struggling with my weight. I've lost 60 pounds this past year, but still need to lose another 40 at least. I feel much slimmer, but still weigh over 200 pounds (but I'm closing in on it!). I eat tons of fruits and veggies and much, much less meat and dairy. I've almost eliminated junk foods, but still indulge in the occassional chip. How are you doing?

I can't stick to anything. I'm so busy and to be quite honest I'm afraid to even start formally because I'm afraid to fail. I wish I can fins something and stick to it.0 -
Hi, my name is Cheri. Start small, just track what you are eatting now then make slow changes. You do not have to do all at once. Make it work for you personaly. See what you eat now when you track and see what would be easiest to change first. You will have a lot of small sucess or finishes that will build to big ones. This will give you since that you are completing something. I tell all my group at some point and time, " If you don't do anything else today and everyday just track your food the good,bad, and ungly welcome here because you learn from what you track"!
