I have "Master Your Metabolism" and I like the setup of the recipes (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks = mix and match to create daily meal plans). I haven't read everything in it, since it's largely a cookbook and that would be boring reading, but I've made many of the recipes. They're tasty, but I don't think they're that nutritionally different from the things labeled "low fat" and "fat free" in my Better Homes and Gardens cookbook. And buying all the specific ingredients...some were hard to find, and considering I was pretty used to just buying whatever interested me at the time, making a meal plan and then getting everything to make those recipes was EXPENSIVE! Also, I recall it saying how many calories were in a serving, but never what a serving size was. Honestly, I don't cook from it much anymore. Mostly I just plan out my day in advance and include the things I like in appropriate amounts and then work the rest of my day around that.0

The actual book, Master Your Metabolism (not the recipe book) was very good altho talked on a high level. Really all she is saying is stop eating crap processed foods I did that after buying her book and lost most of my weight eating this way. Her book winning at losing very good for working out calorie range and I used it when I was bigger (and before i was on MFP) now for my cals i use MFP inconjunction with my fitbit0
