Sore after doing walking dvd

I have been power walking to 'Leslie Sansone: Walk at Home - 5 Day Slim Down - A Mile Each Morning' dvd for the past month. I was doing pretty good at walking 1 mile with the warm up and cool down. I pushed myself to do 2 miles and was doing well with that and then, the next thing I knew, my legs were sore at the hips and knees. I am back at just 1 mile and I can barely manage that. There is some aerobic (sp) activity in this 5 miles dvd, but I was able to handle it. I don't want to quit, because I was doing well with the dvd, but I don't want to push myself because I am sore. There isn't much exercise I can do because I have health problems. I am doing yoga, though and that's going well for me. Any suggestions on the walking dvd?

Maybe just take a break in between do it every other day if you are in unbearable pain. For me if i workout the next day when I am sore it helps just move at your own pace. As long as you are not sore for 5 days then other things may be going on. Hope this helps.0

I think you may be right. Today, I just did my yoga. I may wait another day or two before I start again and then, go a little slower and see if that helps. Thanks.0
