I'm breastfeeding, shouldn't I be allowed to more calories/day?

Yeah, like a good 500. Search breastfeeding in the food database and it should be -500.0

Breastfeeding women require 300-500 extra cals per day to sucsessfully feed their babies. As well as lots of water. I have no idea if MFP has a setting for bfing(I am 4 years past that stage) but you can automatically adjust your profile if there is not a setting for it.0

I deduct 500 cal/day and I lost all my baby weight the first few months. My baby is 6 mos and just started solids but I still deduct 500 cal. My maintenance calories are set to 1500 but I eat 2000 cal.0
