30 day shred gain

Hi there, i have seen where people are doing the above and gain and of course that would happen to me I would not be one of the lucky ones to loose while doing it.......but I guess I just need reinforcement that I have started doing every 2nd day so I don't get sick of it and I am up 1.5 pounds......I am not new to exercise but have not really done anything in 6 weeks as I had minor surgery but I did go to gym, aquasize, walk, yoga so now getting back to the things I love......does it make sense to have gained the 1.5 from doing things.....and yes my eating was in check!!! Thanks....no I did not loose any inches yet

Have you complete 30DS, or did you just start? If you just started then you will *VERY* likely gain water weight because 30DS focuses on compound movements and works all your major muscle groups.

After only four days, you are certainly retaining water to repair your muscles. (Unless you "phoned it in") The first few days are the hardest. Your muscles require water (and protein) for repair.

I was told to log it as 20 minutes of circuit training, so that's what I always did.

Hi, there! Like you, I've been on track with 30DS shred. Today, I completed day 10 of 30 and I am going for a marathon.... no days off. However, I'm more advanced and need that kind of challenge.

With that said, this morning I recorded in my journal that my weight has been on the higher side since I started the program 10 days ago. This morning I began to get a little upset. It is a HARD workout and I sweat a lot... what gives!? Right?

I decided to keep on..... one morning I am going to wake up and the water weight will be GONE with hopefully some fat, too! (wink)

Day 10 and I feel tighter and more toned. My legs and bum are the first places that I've noticed improvement, but my arms and shoulders and my core also look a lot better.

So hang in there. .... and I will, too.

Thanks for the responses and I do feel better just doing it, so it is making me feel good and how can everyone have such success and not myself., right? so will keep on going and then see what happens it certainly is not going to hurt anything!!!
