Phentermine is working great for me.

I've only been on the 37.5mg pill for 5 days, and I've lost 4 pounds. Woo hoo! It seems to be working really well, and it's dirt cheap. I went to a local weight loss doctor that I found on a google search, and my initial doctor appointment AND first month's supply of phentermine was only $85. That's a steal. The best way I would describe it would be comparing it to a smoker using the patch to quit... if you really want to make changes, this can help... but if you're bull-headed and unwilling to make changes, nothing can help.
So anyway, I'll keep you all posted on my results. BTW, I love this website!!! I can't believe it's free. It makes living healthy and counting calories kind of fun (and super easy - especially with the phone app that sync's up).
Live well, be strong. Always remember: An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

I am glad it is working for you. Just remember that you still have to learn how to eat better, and make changes that you can stick with forever. If not you will just gain back when you stop taking the pills someday. This is a great place! It has helped me immensely!0

I will not deny it gets you moving and burning more calories. The critical part will be developing healthy nutritional habits in the process.
In 2004 I was on Phentermine/Ionamin and lost over 30 lbs relatively quickly...but as soon as I stopped it came back, even though I was active and maintaining my nutrition.0 -
Eating right and exercising worked great for me! No drugs, no gimmicks, no money wasted.0

My doctor put me on it when I was at my heaviest weight (330 lbs). It worked great to give me energy and cut my food cravings.
I lost 70 pounds on it then I was feeling healthy and motivated enough to go without it.
It has some nasty heart side effects so try not to use it for an extended period of time.0 -
I also have tried it and it helped me lose about 55lbs within the 3 months a few years ago (Going from 201lbs to 145lbs). I worked out 4-5 times a week and ate 1500 cals per day, sometimes more with workouts. It is a great way to help you start your weight loss but you should not depend on it. Also, you should wean your body off of it when you are coming to the end of your 3 months (one every other day, one every 2 days, etc.) that way you can slowly get used to keeping up with your diet and exercise on your own. I wasn't warned about the after effects once you quit taking the pill and had severe low energy levels. I slept constantly for about a week straight, seems I couldn't go a few hours without needing a nap once I was off the pill. Also, the hunger will come back and that is why you must work to train yourself to eat healthy while it is controlled.
Good Luck to you and I hope it works for you!0
