Hi there,
I joined MFP in the spring although I have been on my weight loss journey since May 2009. Over the last 3 years, I had managed to lose 50 lbs. Unfortunately, I fell off the wagon this summer and gained 5 lbs back and going on a cruise didn't help (gained 12 on the cruise). So I am down 10 lbs from the cruise but have 7 more to go to get back to my 50 lbs weight loss. When I get there, I will have only 5 more to go to get to my ideal goal weight which is really pie in the sky since I haven't weighed that since my 20s.
Last week, I decided that things were not going to come off on their own and I really needed to count my calories. I started logging my food and exercise on FMP. Exercise isn't really an issue since a friend and I walk daily. On the weekdays, we cover 9 to 10km (about 6m) and we do over 12km (7.5m) on the weekends at 3.7 m/h. We are going to try to add Nordic walking to our routine in order to get an upper body workout.
So long story short, I am pleased to be here and I hope to finally get to my goal of 135 lbs.

Hey Danni!
I'm sure that you will reach your goal. I find it awesome that you let yourself enjoy your summer and your cruise and are ready to work at it again.
I'm currently working on re-loosing the 41 pounds I lost the first time. I still have 33 to go for that and then 10 more to my goal. So don't give up! I'm not.0 -
I found photos! I put them in my profile. The first is me at 190 lbs and the second one is at 155 lbs. I am 147 right now so just a few more to go!0
