Fit into all of my skinny clothes.

My clothes were getting way big on me and I was starting to feel kind of self-conscious about it. I was worried I'd be standing in front of a class teaching and my drawers would fall down. So, I went into my closet yesterday and pulled out my old skinny clothes (most are a size 8) just out of curiosity. Every pair of pants except 1 fit me (they were pants I wore before I had kids- Size 7). I threw some away because they were just ugly and outdated but found about 6 new/old pairs of pants that I can wear. The thing is that I weighed 10 pounds less when I wore them before. I guess the working out has made me smaller even if the scale doesn't show me as tiny as I was before. It's very motivating to fit into the clothes I've been telling my husband I couldn't get rid of because I'm going to fit into them again someday. I'm still not done though. I am going to work really hard to firm up and tone what I've got. My daughter is an excellent bargain shopper and plans to help me find a new wardrobe this summer. I thought my goal was to fit into a size 8 but I wonder if all of the working out will put me at a size 6!

    Well Done You!!
    Feels great doesn't it!!
I'm so close to being in my perfect jeans (size 6, I'm very short!!) - just a little bit more!!
Best thing I did was throw away the bigger clothes as I fit in the smaller ones, this has stopped me yo-yoing back to the size 10 as I have done for 2 years!!
Keep at it and I'll bet you'll be in that size 6 for summer - How cool would that be?!?!
    Super slim for summer :o)

You're doing great. What an awesome little surprise for you.

I know what you mean about being heavier in smaller sizes. When I weighed 130 lb, before really exercising, I was a size 6. Now at 142 lb, I am a loose size 5. So I'm working on this pair of size 4 I was in that is hidden in my drawer. I can get them on, but I want to be able to breath a little better ;)

Keep up the great work. Size 6 and summer are all yours.

Congratulations! I know it feels great to be able to get back into your old smaller clothes. I'm the same way about the size thing. I can wear pants now that I wore when I weighed about 10-15 pounds less! Working out really makes a difference!

Keep up the great work and you'll be in a 6 in no time!

I did throw away a pair of 12s. They were the only ones I ever bought and got them at my heaviest. I don't plan on ever buying a pair of those again.

That is awesome. I am in the same boat. I just started using this website about 3 weeks ago. I started running in January. The weight was coming off but not as fast as exercising and counting calories. I have three kids and I am getting closer to my weight before kids. I just bought my first pair of size 6 jeans. I am loving it. My size 10 are all big and I am wearing my 8's a little baggie. I can't wait to buy more 6's maybe a 4 someday.

    Keep up the good work

That's awesome!!! I don't have any "skinny clothes" to fit into because buying new clothes is my reward! I LOVE to shop but haven't been wanting to pay full price (or really much of anything) for NEW clothes unless I know I'll stay in them. I'm hoping for a new wardrobe after summer. :D I'm in a big 12 right now and they're fitting a little loose so hopefully soon I'll be in a regular 12, but my goal is a 10 or 8 if I keep working out, I should be able to tone up and 10 is my magic number.
