What type of scale do you use?

I have a digital scale that I spend a ridiculous amount of money on, it isn't my first one. And I have a good old mechanical one from walmart, the $9.00 one.
I am positive the mechanical is better and more accurate than the digi.
I can step on the digi 5 times in a row and get a different weight each time, I can move it from one hard floor to another in a different room and keep getting different readings.
It also has me 5lbs heavier than my mechanical.
Anyone else found this with theirs?

Yep. I bought a digital one on Monday and feel like throwing it out.
I will step on it and it will say 223.7, take a step off and then go on again and it will say 225,1. How did I gain a pound in 5 seconds?
I will step on again and it will say 224.7 and then step on again 223.9.
It will fluctuate as much as 3-4 lbs over a span of 4 minutes.. I just go with the highest reading in a day as my official reading. (Even though I wish I could use the lowest).0 -
