I'm currently 28 weeks pregnant and I'm not allowed to run, jump, lift 25+ lbs or do abdomen exercises.... :grumble:
But I feel like a big 'ol tub of baby jelly. What kind of small, easy exercises can I do to help keep my muscle mass and stay healthy during the last trimester? I currently walk as much as I can (a couple short walks a week) but I have bad pelvic pain when I walk too much so I want to incorporate something else into it as well so I can get the most out of a good workout.

Opinions wanted! Thanks!

Swimming is a good choice. :)
  • I used to do aqua-fitness classes every single day almost till the last day of pregnancy! It's really cool!

I would advise you talk to your obgyn. He/she should be able to let you know what you can & cannot do. We have a lady in our crossfit class that's pregnant & she does modified versions of our sets, she rows with no problem & does certain weight lifting that don't involve abs.
