I did not vote in this election :blushing: { I know, I know!} I was wondering what your reasons were for re~electing President Obama? :smile:

    Indeed.

    But also, my feelings about social issues, the economy, the environment, science and education, and foreign policy align with his platform, so it was a double no-brainer.

    Actually, I believed neither Romney or Obama deserved to be in office. So I did what any other average (least I thought it was average) person did........

    Voted independent.

    Honestly, I wished every state would have the same ballot as Nevada. They actually had a choice on the ballot that said "none of these candidates". Why couldn't any of the other 49 other state have done this?

    I voted for Barack because although I do not like all the tenants of his health care plan, it has helped me in so many ways and the health care things that Mitt wanted to get rid of, would have effected my health in a very bad way. That in turn would probably have led me to lose my job etc. because I would not have been able to get the treatment that I need for my health issues. I also think that Obama has done some good things for this country. Is he perfect? No, no president is. Has he lied? Yes, I'm sure he has. But Mitt would have been the exact same way and I did not think he was the right fit to run this country.
