March Madness week 1

For this month I think the general goal is to 'break past the 'ten' mark' So lets do this!
My update: at 163.7 lost a little control over my sweet tooth, but hoping to reign that in this week by eating healthy delicious things like peanut butter toast with bananas, or a salted hard boiled egg. no more cookie dough munching at work for me (i work at papa murphys haha) and no more walgreens candy runs. those are my goals for this week.
If you all want to know how we did contest wise for february go ahead and post poundage lost etc. I gained, so I'm out. haha. but back up and running.

I'm ready to break the ten mark. Can't believe I didn't make it happen in February (actually I can), but March is a new month! I'm still hanging at 150 for this week. I also have a goal of beating my sweet tooth, but my big goal is to get in my exercise, water and eat right especially with my move. Maybe I will burn extra calories packing/moving all the boxes! :-) We can do it!

I am ready to break a ten also. I am soooo close. I was .4 lbs away from breaking 180. So this last week TOM visited and I gained a lb. I don't feel to bad because i usually gain 5 lbs for the week. We are all going to do this this month! Let's go girls!!!!!

week 2 is here!!! I have a good feeling that this is my week to break the tenner! I ran 10 miles! 5 up the mountain, and 5 back down! I am at exactly 160.4!!! How about we just stick to this thread for March instead of jumping around??

and good luck with moving ttroses! I have gone through that a few times or 5 so i know how big of a hassle it can be. You can do it! It's always a nice fresh start as well for everything.0 -
I was 179 even today. It is the first time in over a year that i have been below 180. Feels great!!!!

Ok sorry, i think i got lazy... catching up.
My weight on March 1st was 158.0 -
My weight this morning was 154.1... oh my gosh... 3.9 lbs gone Not a bad start but I can bet it will slow down. Having said that I'll take what i get right now
Men do I find the last pounds hard to go... Just don't realise anymore that they are going until I do a quick check from week to week. I think I need to continue.
My goal for this month is to get back in the gym routine. I have been very bad in the last month or so and need to get going again.

Hey everyone! My scale is packed in the new house and I am living in the empty old house until Sunday. I was 150 on Saturday before packing, but I hope to have a good surprise next week when I find the scale! I started walking to work also just for lack of transportation, so hopefully it will help. Congratulations for breaking the tens Sandy! Emily Suzanne you are sooooo close just like me! I think we can do it this week! Welcome back Sylvie! Thanks for all the good wishes with moving. Can't wait to finish things up here and get to the new place!0

So at the start of this lovely new week I have yet to break 160. Instead of being at 160.4 I am just plain 160. Which is good, yes, but AAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha. I am determined to drink more water this week and get my fruits and veggies in.0

Pretty good week, also still not consistent at the gym... just plain good old excuse No time !!!

So 6.9 lbs so far in the month... pretty happy about that. With exercise would have been better, but definitely no complains here0 -
Last week in March here we come! (well, week and a half, haha). I am still exactly at 160.0 All I want this week is to get 159.9. That's it. Lately I have been having sad bouts where I get stuck being sad, and so I was talking to my doctor while was in for gastritis, (inflammation of stomach lining ) and he recommended running 4 miles a day, saying that 4 miles is a magic number, helps with our health mentally and physically. So I'm going to give it a shot this week. So far, doing good. TTroses how is your moving in going? Sandy great job at breaking your tens mark! that's so awesome! and sylvie, great work, that's so fun to see the pounds just float away, haha.

Actually made it back to the gym last weekend so this is pretty good. Now I have to keep it up and not be too busy and make the time for it. Started also to go out for walk at lunch time when it's not raining badly... This is also a good step in the right direction

Missed the 10 lbs by 0.5 lbs... not bad at all. I still have one more day in the month so who knows But either way, I'm very happy with 9.5 lbs lost in the month. I am now very close to my goal and starting to run out of steam. I got to keep the momentum up and aiming to reach my goal by the end of April (8.5 lbs to go so it's possible); after that it's back to maintenance and I plan to be very very careful this time around.
