51 yr old male needing to lose 130 lbs

I fell off the wagon again and went right back up 30 lbs. Starting again and really need to stick with it this time. I got frustrated that I was not losing (scale weight) but was going down in clothes size. I got into bad habit of eating fast food crap and I know that has to stop. I have been unable to exercise due to a knee injury that is almost healed after 3 months. I would appreciate anyone adding me as a friend for support and possible guidance.

One day at a time... it has to be a life change... if you want it QUICK it will take alot of effort... but sometimes if you loose it fast it comes back fast...

I understand it will take close to a year to undo all the abuse I have done to my body over the last 20 years and being the victim of a slower metabolism. thank for adding.0

At the age of 49 I told myself - will I ever be able to say 50 @ 50? I lost 50lbs by the time I turned 50 in April of this year. Yes, like you I have been overweight about 25 years.
Burk just said it correctly - 1 LB at the time, man. And I want to add that you should not look what you DID, but should concentrate on what you WILL do.
1. PLAN (nutrition, diet, exercise)
2. EXECUTE
And enjoy next 50 years.0
