What is the one excuse you always make but shouldn't?

I always think "Ugh, I just showered I don't wanna go workout and get all sweaty!" When I know I can come back after a workout and take another shower.. it's no big deal! I just can't get passed that thought sometimes!!
What about you guys?!

"I already reached my exercise goal for the week and I don't want to eat more food."

I hate my trainer. I mean I love her to death, we're kindred spirits, but I always leave her workouts doing a dead leg-dragging-behind-me crawl to my car, and then it takes me a moment to psych myself up to push my suddenly too-heavy clutch pedal in to start it. And for the two days after my muscles feel painful and shredded.
So... I hate my trainer, but I'd marry her if she wasn't already married. Sometimes I make up excuses like, my son had to stay home sick, or the dog ate my keys.
Another good excuse I use is I hate cardio. Like a bad case of ADD, I start moving either on a treadmill or in a cardio class, and 60 seconds feels like 60 minutes. I'm so bored it makes me not want to do cardio on my off training days.0 -

haha love this!! I absolutely hate being on the treadmill, even with music playing and a tv right in front of me. I prefer to get my cardio in doing dance classes to pass the time faster.0 -
Shower one for me too hate washing my hair so much. That's why I have to do my exercise when I wake up.
I used to say that I wasn't meant to be smaller than 140 pounds because it was just my body shape (Curvy!) that let me get to a certain point and then just stop pushing myself. I have realised however that my body can be any shape I want it to be it's all up to me! Only 3 more pounds and I'm there!0 -

Actually all of my cardio comes from dead lifts, squats, and cleans. I am never more out of breath when I dead lift or squat, it's an incredible experience that uses every ounce of determination and strength you have to perform. It's also incredibly manly too, huge badass factor +0 -
Mine is "The kids woke me up during the night, so I won't wake as early as I was going to. I'll still do my workout this morning." And then I very rarely do.0
