50 pounds down...only the begining

I have been inspired by many of you on here and wanted to share some of my successes as you never know who will read your post and get that extra bit of motivation.
I have always been on the bigger side but things got out of hand in 2011 when I ruptured a disc in my lower back requiring me to have surgery. The 8 months leading up to surgery and 6 months post-op were very difficult times and my activity level was minimal. I started a program on September 4, 2012 at my local hospital using Optifast. I am targeting 1800 calories a day and have been working out 5 days a week. I am currently using 6 shakes plus a meal of 6 oz lean protein and veggies.
I have not been very good about taking progress pictures, that is something I plan to do going forward. Here is my before (334 pounds) in September 2012.
This is the most recent picture I have. I am not sure if you can see the changes but I am currently down 55 pounds per the scale this morning. I only officially weigh in once a week (which is why my MFP progress bar is off). I am also down over 10 inches on my waist.
I plan to continue some posts and will hopefully have some good progress to show going forward.
