So coming 20 pounds soon. I never felt so BAD though, maybe its being sick, maybe its something but lately Im starved. I get up 6 or 7 ususally and eat, first thing, then walk. But lately... by 9 I'm hungry, 10 I'm dying, 11 I'm praying for death. And sometimes have a snack but even then...
I cave in sometimes and have my snack at 10. How can I fill myself up more in the mornings?

Are you eating protein in the morning? I do hard boiled egg whites - 3 when I'm not working out a lot, 6 when I was. They seem to keep my from being starving by lunch, even if I have to wait for a later lunch than I'm used to! I try not to eat too much of the yolks, although once in a while that's OK, but that's where the fat is!

Snack when your hungry!!!! It will help keep you on track!!! Make sure they are healthy snacks... Then you won't be so ravenous and more likely to splurg on something unhealthy or really going over on your calories...
  • You might need to add more fiber to your morning meal. Or perhaps there needs to be more of a balance between protein and carbs. I've found the most filling breakfast is half a cup of cooked oatmeal with a tablespoon of jam to sweeten it up, and then for fiber and protein I add 2 tablespoons of wheat germ, and half a cup of soy milk. I also drink a cup of unsweetened green tea to get me going. This breakfast rounds out to be about 310 calories, it's tasty, and it keeps me full almost all morning. Hope this helps!

You should re-evaluate WHAT you are eating for breakfast. You may be eating foods that your body processes quickly therefore leaving you hungry. Processed foods like white bread have already done your body's job for it leaving hardly anything for you body to process. Switch to whole grains and your body will be working a lot longer to process meaning you wont feel as hungry in a few hours. And there is nothing wrong with having a healthy snack around 10 if you wake up and eat between 6 and 7. If you are eating well and choosing the right foods, you shouldn't fell hungry. Good luck!

What are you eating for breakfast?

What time do you eat lunch? It sounds to me like if you eat at about 7 and don't eat lunch until around 12 then eating your snack at 10 is about right. :o)
