I love bananas but I don't eat them often anymore. Bananas have too much sugar and you can find potassium in other sources.0

Bananas is a fantastic food! Why are peeps saying not to eat them? They are loaded with potassium and are one of the best pre-workout food. One Banana eaten 30 minutes before exercise, can provide enough energy for a 90 minute workout! And a study was just done in Women's Health magazine this month that Marathon runners are now chowing down on bananas throughout their run instead of downing water or energy drinks.
Go bananas!0 -

I love bananas. Seriously - if you are craving something sweet, have a banana instead of a cookie. It's just as satisfying and so much better for you as they are loaded with nutrients.
I do not shy away from any kind of fruit. Replacing processed sweets with fruit helped me lose 90 lbs.0 -
Bananas, like all other fruits, have significant health benefits. They are a better choice than a lot of other things we eat.
However, bananas are one of the most calorie dense fruits. Therefore, a lot of dieters avoid them.
As with anything else, if it fits in your macros, go for it.
I eat one almost every day.0 -

Actually, it's not new. I know Weight Watchers often touted avoiding bananas in the past because they used a lot of points. Also, there was another diet program that severely limited bananas. I think it was LA weight loss.0 -
I follow WW Points Plus. Bananas are now "free" along with all other unprocessed fruit, on that version of the plan. I know it didn't used to be like that, but I'm glad it is now.
I've taken advantage of that, and it certainly works!0 -
I eat one every day for breakfast,I have since I started 17 months ago and I have lost 80 pounds,so not sure why anyone would say not to eat them,,I eat what I want ,in moderation,,0

Why are people saying not to eat them? Potassium! And they are a fruit, right? And I'm all for everything in moderation!!!
^^yes! I eat at them just about everyday. Cut it up and put it on some cottage cheese with sliced almonds.0 -
I eat bananas all the time (probably average 2 a day). I also love them! They are pretty filling which helps keep me from eating things that are bad for me! LOL0
