well my answer would be to naughty to post here...so i will say
nuts, string cheese, and maybe a small helping of homemade chicken salad.0 -
My favorite go-to is mozzarella sticks. I can't believe nobody has mentioned them yet. They're relatively low-cal, portable, ~8g protein for 60-80 cals, keep practically forever, can stand a few hours in a lunch bag without refrigeration.0

Nuts!
I'm not sure how eggs can be a snack since you have to cook them. To me a snack is some you can just grab and eat without effort.
Agreed! Every week or so I boil up a dozen eggs and keep them in a bowl in the fridge. My kids even like to grab them before practice at night - so they never hang around too long.0 -

I don't care for boiled eggs. (I didn't even think of that) I like them scrambled or in an omelet or breakfast burrito. Yum!0 -
*backs out of thread* - definitely not what I was thinking in here....0

Seapoint Farms dry roasted edamame
Those look awesome where do you get them??
EDIT: I see on their website I can supposedly find em at Albertsons & Wally World...never noticed them before hmm.
They sell them at my local grocery (Kroger) but we eat so many that we usually buy a case from Amazon because it's cheaper.

Protein fluff:
Very low calorie: One portion protein powder made up with frozen low calorie squash made strong - about 125 calories total for 28g of protein/3g carbs and a LARGE bowl full (bit over a litre).
For a few more calories, use 200g of frozen fruit for some seriously tasty thick mousse.
I've been buying frozen fruit because it's often cheaper, but satsumas etc work too - just peel and separate then chuck in the freezer when fresh.
Low calorie jelly - 64 calories for 1 litre and all of that from protein pretty much.
Any low fat cooked meat.
Recently I've been having a (long thin, forget the name) lettuce leaf with two slices of ham on, then two or three cherry tomatoes inside. Roll it up around the tomatoes and eat.0 -

so this isnt a snack - unless your home and bored or something which i have done - but..... protein pancakes are pretty good and LOADED with protein. 1/2 cup egg white and 1 scoop protein powder - fry it like a pancake. i was surprised how much i liked it. 180 calories, 2 fat, 2 carbs, 39 protein
I also like turkey bites (Pillers to be exact - Canadian) 50 calories, 6 protein, 2.5 fat. 1 carb
and...Mini Baby Bel Light (cheese) - 50 cals, 3 fat, 6 protein, 0 carbs0 -
one more - greek yogurt can get old so i put a bit of sugar free jello powder in it - make what ever flavour you want....0

I like Nature Valley peanut butter dark chocolate protein bars. I just tried them today and theyre so good! But 190 calories. If you can fit that into your daily calorie limit then I would recommend it because it keeps you full for a long time and it doesnt taste disgusting like some other protein bars do0

if you boil the eggs ahead of time and keep them in the fridge they become a good grab and go protein!
Yes! I have a tupperware full of hard boiled eggs cut in half. I sprinkle them with a few drops of soy sauce, a dollop of Sriracha, and a sprinkle of furikake = UMAMI GOODNESS.0 -
microwave a 1/4 cup of egg whites in a coffee mug for 1.5 minutes, cut into chunks and wrap in three deli slices of extra lean turkey breast. (both from costco btw)
90 calories, 19g of protein, 1g fat, 1g carbs
I went to egg whites to reduce the cholesterol.0 -

On Sunday's, I hard boil enough eggs for snacks for the coming week. Then they are 'grab and go'. Though you still have to peel them! :laugh:0 -
homemade protein bars http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/video-jamie-eason-carrot-cake-protein-bars.htm
babyfood carrots?! Ugh...
Or you could use homemade carrot puree, but why would you? Baby food carrots have two ingredients: carrots and water. Can't get much simpler than that.0 -
Muscle Pharm - Muscle Gel Shot - 22g of protein - Banana Cream (or any of the flavors)
I like it with natural yogurt satisfying and easy0 -
