STUCK - please help me:(

So here's the thing, guys, I really really need your help since I don't know what to do anymore:(.

I've always been a fan of healthy lifestyle (have eaten quite healthy+exercised) and never have been fat or something.

My weight used to be about 60 kg (132 lbs) and a little bit more sometimes.

It's been about ALMOST 3 years since I've started to go to gym regularly (6 times a week; one day: weightlifting, second day: two-hour cardio; usually fast-walking or the elliptical) and become stricter about my eating habits. The first and second year my weight went from 60kg (132lbs) to 58kg(127lbs) and even down to 55-56kg (121-123lbs). But it settled on 57 kg (125 lbs).

But the thing is that I NEED(ed) to get down to 53kg (115-116 lbs).

So, last year I started to add more exercise to my "MAIN gym workout". I added bodyweight exercises (1 hour everyday) and HIIT (INSANITY; 1 hour a day). But honestly, it didn't make much difference to my weight. I got leaner/toned a little bit more but that was it.

But during last summer I started to struggle with my weight a little bit more AKA it started to go up and down a lot. I went from 57kg to almost 60kg again without any changes in my healthy diet. After few weeks I managed to go down to 57kg again but I had a really tough time keeping it that way.

After summer (September-October) I decided to stop going to gym for few weeks to see if just HIIT cardio (INSANITY) + body-weight exericises will have better or at least the same effect on my body as the GYM and honestly, I got a little bit tired and bored of the gym work-out routine AND I hadn't gotten any "big" results for sometime already.

Honestly, I'm not avare of losing any muscle (if I ever had some:D) but the sad thing I didn't lose ANY weight either. And that is quite disappointing since I've "been" on 4000KJ diet (even lower sometimes:() for almost 4 months + very low in carbs for 2 months:(.

I know what this all probably sounds like and what you're probably thinking: "Another stupid b*tch that needs to be underweight to feel good about herself." But honestly, that's not it. I don't thing I'm FAT or anything (I'm not 100% happy about my body either though as any other woman out there:D) and if I didn't NEED to have certain weight and measurements I would keep my mouth shut but I NEED TO...So please understand:(.

Here are my daily meals:

7:00 - 2 eggs+vegetables/yoghurt/wheatmeal(once in a while)
10:00 - whey powder (OR piece of fruit)
13:00 - soy meat/chicken breasts/+vegetables
16:00 - whey powder (or yoghurt/vegetables/almonds)
19:00 - soy meat/chicken breasts/+vegetables

Work-out:
morning: Pilates (1 hour); body-weight exericises (2 hours)
afternoon: HIIT (Insanity, 30-60 minutes) + 30 minute ab work-out(depending on the day)
evening (additional, not every day): fast walking (1 hour) + 30 minute HIIT

My measurements + weight:

weight: 57 kg (125 lbs)
bust: 87 (34)
waist: 65 (25-26)
hips: 95 (37)

As I said I need to get down to 53 kg (116lbs) and my waist to at least 62 cm (24+ inches) and hips to 90cm(35 inches). I understand that not everybody's body is made to be "model body" but let's not talk about that this time. I work really hard and don't get the results I need so I'm quite disappointed and frustrated.

I'm just wondering what mistake I might be making that I cannot make this happen...? Does somebody have the same or similar experience? What did you do to lose weight and stay toned at the same time? Please let me know if you know the HEALTHY way to get the results I need (exercise to take down the inches, anything?). Please check my gallery to see my body - no "naughty" comments please:P:D. I know I'm not perfect:D.

THANKS TO ANYONE for HELP. I'll appreciate it. I really have nobody to turn to with this problem anymore:(

I don't think you are going to get the answers you want here lol. It would be important to have more statistics such as your height, frame, and what MFP suggests you eat, if you have MFP set to lose 1 lb a week etc...

Why don't you just accept that you're around the weight you're meant to be and stop torturing yourself?

You should list your stats.... but from what I have read you are eating way too little!!!!
With all that exercise you are doing how is your body going to survive off 1000 cals!
I suggest you find out your bmr and net at least that amount everyday

Your body just might be at the weight it's meant to be at. Is there a specific reason that it's crucial for you to be at 53kg? I would seek the advice of an expert. Like a doctor, nutritionist and/or a personal trainer. Explain to them your situation and see what they have to say. You may not like what they tell you, but you should value their opinion. Healthy and Fit is better than Skinny and unhealthy.

I suspect that you are a model (although I don't know why you are not a bit clearer about why you NEED to lose weight and inches). Although you don't state your height, it appears that your measurements are well in line with your weight. I doubt that you will find what you are looking for here--because it appears that you are trying to get from a very healthy body weight to something that borders on too thin. It is likely that with all that exercise, you also have a fair amount of muscle, which is a good thing (except perhaps in your profession). I would encourage you to really think about what you want from your career and your body and decide whether you are being realistic with what you want for your life.

I'm 5'6. Small frame. My BMR is 1414.95. calories. So yes, I am aware I'm probably not eating enough. But the thing is I probably got used to it. And I don't need to lose pounds and pounds a week. I just need to lose those 4 kilos (8-9 pounds) but in a healthy way so just exericise of different food - NO DIETING. It can take me even moths.

First of all, you should come to terms with the fact that after all the work you're doing, you're not "small" enough, then maybe you aren't supposed to be. Secondly, to be healthy, like you suggest - you need to make sure you're eating enough.

You seem to have your mind already made up so offering you advice is probably pointless, but:

    1) like everyone else said, eat more. Like a lot more.

    2) You don't NEED to get down to that weight. You WANT to, but frankly it may not be healthy for you. We are all built differently and you can't exercise off your body type. You are probably perfectly healthy at 125, no need to lose 10 more pounds. If you're working that hard and the weight's not coming off it just may not be in the books for you.

Yes, you're right:) I am a model or well used to be...since I gained weight and mainly inches I'm very very unemployed and since I'm not the tallest model ever I need to have at least the measurements and weight that is needed+to be lean and toned. I know this all sound pretty fu*ked up but it's the way it is and I can't to much about it.

I don't think I have much muscle - maybe I'd have more if I change my eating habits and stuff, I don't know. You can check my gallery to see.:)

    Thx for your comment:)

Go read this and then come back here if you still have questions...

Right now, you are starving your body and doing serious long term damage to yourself by eating only 4000kj (1000 calories|) and over exercising..... I suspect the exercise comes to around 4000kj per day to - so you are surviving on 0 net calories....

Am I converting this correctly? That adds up to 11,000 KJ which = approx. 2,600 cals. Unless you have really big meals or use a lot of oils/butter/dressing, what you showed as you meals does not seem like it would add up to that.

But, why do you need to get to that weight? Is it a requirement to get to that weight or is it the inches that matter?

Yes, I've made up my mind about losing weight already since I need to keep my job.

I need advice on HOW to change my diet to lose weight but stay healthy at the same time. I think I'm eating quite enough considering other crazy bi*tches in this industry BUT I'm willing to eat more if it will help me to get what I want...don't get me wrong I'm not willing to torture myself...I know that sometimes eating more means losing weight so I just need to know WHAT to eat to stay healthy and slim at the same time:). Thx anyway:)

4000kj is equal to 955 calories.

you absolutely cannot survive on that intake daily while exercising like you do.

You said "eating healthy and NO DIETING". I don't get it. How is starving yourself not "dieting"?

You should be eating more like 6000kj per day, and eat a little MORE than that on days you work out hard.

plus, the weight you are aiming for is below the healthy range for your height.
I don't understand why you "NEED" to reach a certain number, but since that number is unhealthy, nobody here is going to encourage you in reaching it.

Eat more and stop trying to be something unrealistic.

This is going to sound realy horrible, but lets face the facts.. (and im just going from your main post)

Stop starving yourself, stop exercising your self to death, start eating, and get an education. You do not NEED a job that causes you to do harm to your body and your health for a paycheck.

Simple as that. You are NOT on this site to get healthy, you are here to try to learn tricks on how to drop weight fast and in an unhealthy fashion. Go back to school and choose a different career path.. afterall, your current employment status isnt working out too well, is it?
  • It sounds like you're definitely not eating enough calories so instead of burning the calories your body is storing it as fat so your body can have some sort of energy. Also instead of trying to get to a certain weight aim for a healthy body fat percentage, because that is more important. Chances are if you are toned you will weigh more than you hope but you will look better and healthier and I think you will be more satisfied with your body. So, up the calories if you continue to work out that vigorously and you will see more satisfying results. At this time you're literally starving yourself with the amount you are working out. Good luck.

You should not focus on how much you weigh but how you look and feel. At 5'6" I cannot believe that you should be anywhere as low in weight as you are aiming for. I am 5.4, 145 lbs And a UK size 10. I am of medium build and so as you are small framed you could be slightly lighter but not much. Your vital stats seem to be very good. Enjoy what you have, eat sensibly, exercise 4-5 times a week for no more than an hour and if you are meant to lose any more weight it will start to move. I am currently eating 1700 calories a day and am losing about 1lb per week. I am 5 pounds from My current goal weight.

Fortunatelly, my doctor or trainer aren't exactly willing to give much advice on this craziness going on:/. And I'm not even surprised.
