Hello new to this site and have just found out I have pcos (Polycystic ovary syndrome) I'm petty worried and I'm hoping I can learn more about what food is right to eat and things plus it would be a great help if anyone would have any advice.
I'm also having key hole surgery in a few months so need to loose the weight find it very stressful.

I also have PCOS (so does my mom and my sister) and there are special guidelines for women like us when it comes to losing weight. I've managed to lose about 70 pounds and I still have about 35 to go. The biggest thing to watch out for is carbs / sugars for women like us. You need to try to eliminate simple carbs and sugars from your diet, and you will be astounded by the results. I have some books I can recommend if you'd like to read about it. Good luck!
