alittle hungry

Am new to this and am a little hungry especially in the evening. It causes me to start looking for something to eat. Suggestions would be helpful.

    Space out meals/calories
    Drink lots of water
    Have a high protein snack in the evening
    Make sure you're eating enough calories throughout the day

    A few things to consider since your diary's not open:

    Are you really hungry or just bored or used to having an evening snack?

    Are you getting enough protein and healthy fats? These both help keep you full while typically carbs/sugars don't last as long and leave you wanting a few hours later.

    Are you eating back your exercise calories? If not, use these for that evening snack.

    Could also be that your calorie limit is set too high so you're calorie goal is too low. With the amount of weight you have to lose, 1 pound per week is the most realistic.
  • Apple and pb or apple alone, Shakeology, oatmeal, almonds...anything high in protien and fiber will keep you fuller longer.
  • Thanks for everyones advice. I have read that high protein helps keep you fuller so I will try it. I am used to having sweets after dinner and know I need to atleast reduce that. I was wondering what are good proteins to eat in the evening after dinner.
