Hey,
Just wondering if everyone measures their waist, hips, bust etc while dieting?
I havent been doing this, and wish I had started off with measurements to compare, as I cant see much difference even thou Iv lost 7lb, others say they can notice... Maybe it because I see myself everyday so I dont see a change as much
P.S, Add me if u log daily, i need motivation and happy to give in return!

My trainer took my measurements when I began working out with her. After six weeks I did notice my clothes felt a little looser but when I looked in the mirror I looked the same to me. At the end of 6 weeks when she weighed and measured me again I had only lost 3 lbs. ;-( but I had lost 11.5 inches througout my body, 5 of which came from my abdomen alone and 2 from my waist. The rest was 1/2 and 1/4 inches here and there from my hips, thighs, arms etc. So yes, it is a good idea to take measurements. I only wish I had taken a before picture too so that I can see the difference.0

I did. I do a workout where the goal is the "golden ideal" which got me to exceed my wildest dream for what I could achieve. When I started on this weight loss journey I thought size 8 would be then end because it's the smallest I've ever been. But shooting for the golden ideal got me to a size 2-4 and changed my life tremendously. Don't limit yourself. You can always adjust your goals as you get closer.
And here is an article just published today about it:

I log in every day and have a lot of people watching my diet, etc.
Wishing you the best! -Bobbie0 -

Yes I do. I measure
Upper arm (widest part of bicep)
Chest (widest part of boobs)
Waist (narrowest part of torso)
Abdomen (widest part of stomach, around bellybutton)
Hips (widest part)
Thighs (biggest part)
Calf (biggest part)
I am measuring about every 5 pounds, or if for some reason I am not seeming to lose on the scale I will measure every 2-4 weeks.0 -
I measure too. The 1st of every month. I didn't think much was changing until I started measuring. That has helped me keep motivated too.0

Yes....I had a few weeks of little movement on the scale but a dramatic change in measurements....I measure every month.0
