so... i have a desk job and spend at least 50hrs a week working... weekdays im all about hittin the gym... but my weekends consist of 12+ hr shifts :/ not much time left for the gym because when i leave im exhausted!!!! so im turning to all of you for a little bit of help!!!

what, if any, exercises can i do at a desk lol... i work at a towing company answering phones... its rather dirty so id rather not lay on the floor doing situps etc... please help

  • Get a Pedal Exerciser and keep it under your desk. It's like a tiny bike. When you can, do a minute of jumping jacks, 20 second break, another minute of JJs for 5-10 reps. Use heavy items on your desk for bicep curls and calf lifts. Squats and rear-lifting pulses while holding onto the chair. Can you replace your desk chair with a balance ball?

    EDIT: Also, SparkPeople.com has a list of short workout videos you can do in the office, in less than 10 minutes, without equipment.

    those are some good ideas :)

    and i dont think the boss would like the balance ball idea :( "this is work, not the circus" is something he would say... i once saw an infamircial on this odd looking chair, i cant recall the name of it but its built to have you work your abs....

    and where could i find this pedal exerciser??

    And the Pedal Exerciser, you could find one at a Sports Authority, Big Five, or hell, even on Ebay, LOL
