I am a pervert!

!It's the only conclusion I can come to:(

I binged today - a proper binge - nut just a few hundred cals, but over more than twice my TDEE.... And it was pretty much all "bad" stuff with no useful nutritional content.

But that's not what makes me a pervert. I've eaten more before, and will probably do again. I'll get back on the wagon tomorrow and carry on....

No, what worries me is that I felt absolutely stuffed, bloated and sick by mid-afternoon (already 1k cals over) yet I carried on eating:( Not only did I carry on eating, but I went out and bought more bad stuff, and was unable to top cramming it into my mouth despite the fact that each bite made me feel worse. And just to make it a little more perverted, I bought the bad stuff in secret and "hid" that I was eating it from my household.

That's what makes me a pervert - I deliberately continued doing something that made me feel bad, and was bad for me, with no apparent control over my actions. I hereby promise to try harder to curb my perversion and work harder and being normal from now on :)

Sounds like you might just be human to me... :-). We all screw up. Who hasn't had a bad food day?? Get back on the wagon, like you said, and do something else next time. Instead of going and buying crappy food, go buy a new jump rope, or do 75 jumping jacks, or rent a Redbox movie...etc.
    Good luck :)

I've done that before, too. I used to have days when I would stop at KFC or McDonald's and get 2 full meals, eat them and throw away the evidence. Then I would go home and eat dinner. I still have bad days every once in a while, but I'm trying to change my mindset about food.

Have you considered therapy or Overeaters Anonymous?

Can you think of what might have triggered it? With me, there is always something that triggers my binges.. like yesterday, I was just sitting around watching my DVDs, and I couldn't stop eating. It wasn't junk, but it was still too much by the time the day was over.

Watching TV, reading are two of my worst triggers.

Ugh it makes me feel naseous just thinking about it. I think we all understand what that's like. Sounds like for you working on keeping it out of the house might be important.

I agree. For me it's homework. I just want to snack when I'm doing it. I guess to keep me feeling alert I don't know.

Your not a pervert. Your only human. :) I myself have done things like this to many times to count. You gotta just not let it keep you in the cycle and just jump back on the wagon tomorrow.
