Just curious, which supplement have worked for you?

Of all the supplements I've tried - The only 2 I have seen noticeable results from are Protein(if you even want to consider that a supplement...) and Creatine.

Have you all used anything else that have help your athletic performance in the gym?

I've used Glutamine for muscle recovery, I do like that one. And yeah, protein rocks too! :)

    Multi vitamin and fish oil.
I stopped experimenting in my 20's
  • how did you us the creatine powder i just got some???
  • Some of the powders will want you to load, and others are okay without loading. Loading = about 20 grams of creatine for 5 days, then maintaince.

It usually takes about 3 to 4 weeks to notice a difference with creatine. You will likely gain 4-10 pounds of water weight when you start using it.

I've found a 3 month cycle of Creatine can add upwards of 10% to my lifts.

I've had my best experience using Creatine for 3 month cycles and dropping off of it for about 6 months after that.

Feel free to message me if you need more advice on it. I'm not an expert, but I've used Creatine on and off for about 4 years.
About a month post creatine, the water weight has dropped off. My weight goes about to the starting weight, but usually with a couple extra pounds of muscle, and a couple less pounds of fat.

Workout is consistent with or without Creatine. I can workout Harder when on it.
