Hi, my name is Colleen and I am a new member. I have been working really hard the last 2 wks with a fitness program and I weigh in tomorrow. I am excited and nervous at the same time. so wish me luck. My problem isn't working out or staying active but portion control and eating the right foods. I have completely cut out diet soda which WAS my favorite drink and we bake everything (no fried foods). I am down to water and nothing but water. If anyone has any tips for me, I will be glad to listen.

Welcome! You can add me if you want. I never fry food and prepare almost always all my meals myself. I have the same problem of portion control though. Get a scale and measure up the food and then log it in to see the calorie amount. It sounds crazy but it makes me feel more full than just eating double portions and wanting more....0
