What's with the last few lbs?

I am so annoyed. I only want to lose 3 lbs, and aftter two weeks of eating at about 600 under I have not lost anything at all. I do about 90 minutes of cardio a day and I have been eating about 1700 calories. I normally do about 90 minutes of cardio a day and eat over 2000 to maintain my weight. Is the myth about the last 5 lbs true?

Your body could becoming used to your workouts and calorie intake. I say try something knew, do Intervals, jump on the stair master, go job then sprint and walk, run up stairs, jump rope, lift weights..etc.. so you constantly changing your heart rate! Maybe that can help?
Hopefully it does! 0 -
It does get a lot tougher when you are a healthy weight and so close to your goal.
I am having a hard time with 11 last lbs never mind 3
Maybe change something or just give it some time

My regular workout is: jumprope, running, squat jumps, crunches, pushups, shadow boxing with light weights (2-3 rounds), bag work (4-6 rounds), sparing/mit work (4-6 rounds), more pushups, squats, and abs, jumprope, jogging. This is all at high intensity except for the last bit of running.0

Drop high intensity cardio (2-3 20-30 minute sessions of HIIT would be ok) in favor of low-intensity stead-state cardio (e.g. walking).
Ensure protein intake is adequate.
Increase resistance training (3x1 hour sessions of resistance training in the 6-12RM range)
Eat at a net weekly caloric deficit of ~2000 calories (1/2 lb. per week).
Do that for 6 weeks and you will be good to go.0 -
I'm with the person who suggested to lower the intensity of the cardio workouts. That usually works for me! I should follow the same advice but I'm in love with my body combat routines and I have a blast in class.

My workouts come before my 3 lb wieght loss goal for sure. I There might be something to just waiting out the weight loss though. Shooting for six weeks instead of 2. Yeah, there might be something to that.0
