My christmas gift to myself - losing 10 pounds!

Hi - I'm Rachel - this is my first forum post. I'm 30 years old, and 5'4 and 143 pounds. I'm hoping to lose 10 pounds by Christmas, with an overall goal of 125 pounds. My other goals are to improve my strength and muscle tone, and really (REALLY) to feel better over all. I'm in pretty good shape endurance-wise: I just ran my first 1/2 marathon at the end of October. But my food habits really need help. I'm overly dependent on sugar and caffeine, and hope to break both of those habits here. More natural foods!

My Christmas gift to myself will be to reach 175 lbs. I will be back at the weight I was at when I first met my wife. (It will be one of her gifts too LOL)0

10 pounds in 6 weeks is pretty fast! Maybe set up two goals - 1 for working out or eating at least 5 fruits/vegs a day and the other weight loss. That way your goals help each other out and you can be pretty sure of hitting one by Christmas.0
