I haven't worked out in 3 days and I feel horrible about it. If I'm not moving my body I feel lke I'm gaining weight. The reason I have been MIA in my fitness is because I caught a cold... I'm all stuffed up and I don't feel physically well. My mind keeps rooting me on when I listen to my workout playlist. Perhaps I could at least "walk" on the treadmill... *sigh... overall I just feelto REALLY GUILTYfrustrated ABOUT NOT working out... :-(

I can't workout because of a medical condition, so I make sure to keep under my calorie goal and everything's okay. Weight loss happens in the kitchen, it's fitness that happens in the gym.0

Last month I got a cold, but turned up for my session with my personal trainer anyway. He told me to go home, rest, and get better. Well, the cold segued into shingles! I ended up sick for three weeks and was really stressed about losing my momentum too, because I feel like I literally have to beat the weight off my body with exercise. But I lowered my calories slightly and REALLY watched them carefully, and was able to post a loss each week. It's a relief to be better and getting back into the swing of things! I hope you feel better fast!0

^This^ Hope you feel better soon.0 -
Every GOOD trainer tells you that when your body is ill you need to take care of it. You NEED to slow down and allow your body to heal (even if it is from a cold). Don't use it as an excuse - but if you are truly sick, take care of that first. If you MUST do something, then a slow walk on the treadmill. When your body is fighting illness or injury it cannot focus on breaking down and rebuilding muscle that you abuse through a workout - Be gentle on yourself in all ways. When you are better - go for it again!0

tomorrow is a new day! Set your mind tonight that you will exercise. I have to have my bag packed and ready to g o the night before so I have no excuse but to go to the gym after work. That works for me...0
