Great start after week #1

After only the first week.....
- down 7.4 lbs (only -0.3 lbs muscle). Adding some weight training this week.
- waist down 3.0 inches
- blood pressure now rock solid at 120 / 78. It has been 135-148 for years. Low dose meds will be gone next month.
I've been tracking EVERYTHING, if only to educate myself on MyFitnessPal
- [carbs total] average 50-80g/day (193 recommended)
- [fats] average 50-60g/day (47 recommended)
- [sodium] average 700-900mg/day (3500 recommended). ** Used to be 3000-5000mg/day. This made the single biggest change
- [proteins] average 70-100g/day (53 recommended)
Thanks to Scott (the guy across from my office desk) for getting the ball rolling....... I'm hooked.
